Introducing Wordoku on CleverGoat Labs

Wordoku brings a clever twist to Sudoku: swapping numbers for letters and adding daily themes. The letters used in each grid uncovers an anagram related to the daily theme.

If you love Sudoku, but also love words (and anagrams) then Wordoku, on CleverGoat Labs, might just be the game that blends it all for you.

A Quick History of Sudoku

Sudoku, as we know it today, rose to global popularity in the early 2000s, but its roots go back much further.

The puzzle is based on a simple idea: • Fill a grid so that each number appears only once • No repeats in any row, column, or block

The appeal lies in its clarity. It's super easy to understand, but can be endlessly challenging.

So… What Is Wordoku?

Wordoku follows the exact same principle as Sudoku, but instead of numbers, the games make use letters.

That means: • Each letter can appear only once per row • Only once per column • And only once per block

Our Unique Spin

We’ve taken the classic format and added a few layers that make Wordoku feel fresh:

Three Grid Sizes

You can play Wordoku in: • 4x4 • 6x6 • 9x9

A Daily Theme

Every day, Wordoku comes with a theme.

Each puzzle is built around a word related to that theme: • A 4-letter word for 4x4 • A 6-letter word for 6x6 • A 9-letter word for 9x9

As you solve the grid, the letters come together to form that word, adding an extra layer of discovery. (Who doesn't love a good anagram challenge)

Difficulty That Evolves

Don’t be fooled by grid size.

A 4x4 might look simple… but that doesn’t mean it’s easy.

Our puzzles: • Start off easier on Mondays • And get progressively more challenging as the week goes on

So whether you want a quick win or a real brain stretch, there’s something for you.

Why Wordoku Lives in Labs

Wordoku is part of CleverGoat Labs because it’s something we’re actively exploring and refining.

We’re testing: • Different grid experiences • How themes enhance gameplay • What makes puzzles feel satisfying (not frustrating)

And as always, your feedback helps shape where it goes next.
