Not just launching them, but actually making them. Testing ideas. Trying things that might work. Sometimes things that might not. We have so many ides and we believe experimentation is key.

That’s why we have decided to create CleverGoat Labs.

Labs is our container for experimental, in-progress games. It’s where new ideas go live early before they’re fully polished. This allows us to see what our community (that's you!) think of them. What works. What doesn't.

Why We Test Games Early

The best puzzles aren’t designed in isolation. They’re discovered.

We can design mechanics, build prototypes, and test internally, but the real magic happens when players get their hands on a game.

Labs also offer us the opportunity to receive feedback, fast. We read every piece of feedback we get from our community.

Testing helps us understand: • What’s intuitive (and what isn’t) • What feels fun vs frustrating • Where players get stuck • What keeps you coming back

This information in turn allows us to iterate and either get the game to a point where we can launch, or sometimes we realise we need to bid farewell.
